Q: How does language exchange with a pen pal work?

You write partly in your language and partly in Russian. Your pen pal corrects you and you correct them — a free tandem that fits any schedule.

Q: Do I need to be fluent to start?

Not at all. Even beginner messages are welcome — most members love helping someone discover their language.

Q: How do I find Russian speakers?

Use the Discover filters: choose Russian under "Speaks" and select the Language Exchange purpose.

Textbooks teach you grammar — pen pals teach you how people actually talk. Find members who speak Russian and want to learn your language in return. You correct their messages, they correct yours, and you both make a friend along the way.
