One of my favorite traditional Sri Lankan dishes is kiribath, which means “milk rice.” It is made by cooking rice with coconut milk until it becomes soft and creamy, a spicy mixture made with chili, onion, and lime. I love kiribath because it is simple, comforting, and has a special place in Sri Lankan culture. 🇱🇰❤️

Three small things that make me happy are watching beautiful sunsets, enjoying delicious food, and having good conversations with people I care about. I also love those little unexpected moments that make an ordinary day feel special, like discovering a new song, taking a nice photo, or laughing over something silly. 🌅🍛📸
A place nearby that tourists never find…
One of my favorite places in Sri Lanka is **Mount Lavinia Beach**. It’s a beautiful beach close to Colombo where you can enjoy the sea breeze, watch the sunset, walk along the shore, and relax while listening to the waves. I especially love visiting in the evening when the sky changes colors and the beach becomes lively. It’s a simple but beautiful place that gives you a nice taste of everyday life in Sri Lanka. 🌊🌅🇱🇰
